Bred in Wales by the late Mrs A.S. Griffiths this exquisite pony is a wonderful example of a childs pony combining stunning looks and exceptional manners.

Ridden by my eight year old daughter Isadora, in her first season off the leading rein, this very much loved pony has never ceased to be the greatest credit to all his connections.

This season, with the help and guidance of the brilliant Gilbert Scott family, he has excelled himself counting among his many victories the Royal Show, Surrey County, Derby County, Ponies U.K. (West), B.S.P.S Area 6 Heart of England and at the B.S.P.S Summer Championships he was 138cm. Champion of Champions and Reserve Champion - Champion of Champions, and the crowning glory, Legend Blue Riband Champion.

I don't think any of us will ever forget the moment he was called forward as Champion. This was truly magical and for Isadora the fulfilment of an ambition held since she was 3 years old when she watched her sister, Zinnia, come down the centre line on the same pony, but that time as Pretty Polly Champion.

Thank you B.S.P.S for making it such an exciting, atmospheric and memorable Show. Thank you to the Bosomworth family for allowing me to buy Sooty, to Stuart Stafford for forming his early years, to Mrs. Griffiths for breeding him. I am only so sad you were not there to see him, (but like to think you might have been watching from above).

I can never thank Carol, Simone and Mrs Gilbert Scott enough for their phenomenal input, sheer genius and invaluable support and also owe a huge thank you to Zinnia for all her fantastic work 'behind the scenes' on Sooty and last, but never least thank you darling Sooty for making dreams come true and being a real superstar.
